O'Day Javelin 14' Fiberglass Sailboat, $800 or B.R.O
We've owned her for about 8 years. Our use was in fresh water on Norway Lake in Maine. She's a great sailer with a steel retractable centerboard, very stable. Holds four comfortably though we've had 2 adults and four kids without any problem.
From her hull number, I think she was a 1973 model year. She's light blue fiberglass with a white deck and gold colored spar. The fiberglass is faded but other then a two very minor dings, the hull is in excellent condition. The trailer has some rust but works fine. The bearings were replaced when we got her and the trailer only gets used from our yard to the boat ramp.
Sails are Neil Pryde, includes Main and Jib both in good condition (no rips or wear). There are no numbers on the sails so I assume they were replaced by the previous owner. We have replaced all of the lines and hardware so she's ready to go. There is a storage area behind a hatch under the bow.
